OPM: We Who Invaded Workers Nduga, Non-Civil Death Victims but TNI

"We have a code of ethics for a revolutionary war. We will not fight against unequal and equal civilians."

The Free Papua Organization stressed that the attack on the location of the Trans Papua bridge in Distik Mbua, Nduga District, on Sunday (2/12) last weekend was carried out by its military wing, the National Liberation Army of OPM.

OPM's spokesperson is a sambom

OPM spokesman Sebby Sambom said in a press release in Papua on Wednesday (05/12/2018) that the attack on workers in Aworak, Kali Yigi and TNI posts in Mbua was carried out by the team of the Military Region Commander III Ndugama OPM Egianus Kogoya.

"We take offensive actions and are responsible for them," Sebby Sambom said.

He revealed, the offensive was carried out on the command of the Kogoya Pemne field. The dead were TNI members disguised as civilians.

Sebby Sambom explained, the OPM TPN had at least three months been investigating the project workers.

As a result, he said, Pos Mbua was a control center containing workers from the TNI elements in civilian clothes.

"We know that those who work on the Trans Papua Road along Jalan Habema - Kenyam Drops - Batu Limits are purely TNI members," he explained.

He dismissed the charge of killing civilian workers. He asserted, the TPN OPM did not choose the target of the operation.

"The Papuan people know very well where civilians, civilian workers and TNI and TNI people from Yon Zipur are working on the project," he explained.

In addition, Sebby Sambom also admitted that the attack on the TNI Post in Mbua District was his army, not civilians.

"It must be remembered, we TPNPB National Command has a code of ethics for revolutionary warfare. We will not fight against unequal and equal civilians."
